Episode 1: Joe Freiday

Joe touches on his journey from daydreaming in the OF as a little leaguer, to putting his head down and grinding his way to a Division 1 offer from Virginia Tech. He also talks about the importance of getting bigger, faster and stronger earlier in your career in relevance to injury prevention.

Episode 2: Bryan Henault

O'Brien Performance Baseball brings you the second episode of The Dugout Talk Podcast with special guest Bryan Henault a.k.a. Chunk, a 2024 Catcher with Xaverian Brother High School, Northeast Gators 14U, and 2021 New Balance Select National Team. Bryan touches on his journey from day 1 of his baseball career to now with his best accomplishment being selected for the NB Select National Team. He speaks on the benefit of setting short term career goals compared to long term ones to continue your baseball career as long as possible.

Matt takes us through the progression of his baseball career and what led him into coaching. He also talks about his experience with the recruitment process and why he ultimately chose Merrimack.

Matt is a Quinnipiac Baseball Alum, and current Coach with the Rt.2 Blue Sox. Matt takes us through the progression of his baseball career and what led him into coaching. He also talks about his experience with college baseball and how his bridge year at Suffolk University put him in the position to walk on at Quinnipiac. We close on the real aspects behind “Arm Care” and how to put yourself in the position to get to the next level.

Max & Matt talk through their baseball careers and everything through at them during 2020. They touch on their High School experience being cut short and missing out on their Senior Baseball season due to the pandemic. We close with their advice for the younger generation of ball players coming up.

Michael is a Bridgewater State University Alum where he played basketball. Michael takes us through the progression of his athletic career and what led him into the fitness world. He also talks about his experience being a Equinox Trainer. We close on the work Michael is doing with his online fitness platform.

Episode 7: Jacob Levine

O'Brien Performance Baseball brings you the seventh episode of The Dugout Talk Podcast with special guest Jacob Levine, a freshman at Oswego State University in New York. Jacob is a Easton, Ma native who loved the game of Baseball early. Jacob takes us through his baseball progression and how he wound up choosing to attend Oswego State. He also talks about his experience transitioning from Catcher to 1st base starting back in his Junior year of high school. He also touches on how he was able to train during the off-season while the pandemic was still around. We close on the advice Jacob has for the next generation of ball players.

Episode 8: Mine Bats

O'Brien Performance Baseball brings you the eighth episode of The Dugout Talk Podcast with special guest Pete O’Brien, Owner of Mine Bats. Pete takes us through the early beginnings of Mine Bats and their business partner who imports their wood. Pete talks about their “Rebranding” process. He also talks about Mine’s experience in the MLB space and how they brought on Prince Fielder as their face of the brand. Pete explains the difference between their European Beechwood bats compared to the Maple/Ash bats currently on the market. Mine Bats has incredible customization options with their wood bat knob coin. We close on the work Pete and Mine are doing by giving back to Wounded Warriors with their hand crafted American Flag bats as well as helping The Base in Roxbury, Ma by giving 140 bats to kids who never have had their own.
